Carefully hand-plucked, the tea requires minimal machine processing. It undergoes slight oxidation, enhancing its exquisite flavours while maintaining the authenticity of a classic Darjeeling First Flush.
Use fresh, filtered water. Heat to 85–90°C — just below boiling.
Use 1 tsp (2–3 g) per 200 ml of water. Adjust to taste.
Pour water over leaves and steep for 2–3 minutes.
Strain into a warmed cup. Best enjoyed without milk.
