“Monk” symbolizes calm, focus, and respect for nature. “Sera” symbolizes serenity, balance, and the pure essence of calm living.
Monk Sera Tea is not just about taste—it is about pure freshness born in the heart of the Himalayas. Our tea carries the gentle touch of the morning breeze from Kanchenjunga, where the cool mountain air kisses the tender tea leaves, making them naturally fresh and aromatic.
Behind every cup is the hard work and love of our dedicated tea workers, who carefully pluck only the finest tender leaves by hand. Their passion and care give our tea its authentic character and exceptional quality.
We source our teas from different parts of Darjeeling, each region offering its own unique aroma and flavor shaped by altitude, climate, and tradition.
Sittong holds a special place in our journey. Tea cultivation here began only about 20 years ago, making it one of the younger tea-growing regions of Darjeeling. These young gardens produce a fresh, light, and distinctive flavor that reflects the purity of the land and the dedication of its people.
